Daniel Fiévet invites us to discover an illness mysteriously known as the grand mal or the mal sacré, but commonly known as epilepsy. He will be speaking about a new DVD entitled “Art & Epilepsy: Conference, Performance and Investigative Report” conceived and produced by neurologist Fabienne Picard.
In order to widen our understanding of and destroy prejudice surrounding this neurological disease, this DVD presents numerous people with epilepsy who, in spite of their condition, were remarkable historical figures, such as Socrates, Molière, Newton, Napoleon Bonaparte, Dostoevsky, Flaubert, Van Gogh. |
